Project Overview

Drone21 partnered with Sevenhills Demolition and the Reclaimed Brick Company to document the demolition of The Plough Inn, a historic site in Sheffield. This project not only involved the technical challenges of demolition in a dense urban environment but also highlighted the importance of sustainability, with materials from the site being reclaimed and repurposed. Our goal was to visually document these processes and provide our clients with high-quality aerial photographs and videos to showcase their expertise in demolition and material recycling.

Our Role

Our team was brought in to capture each phase of the demolition, starting from the interior deconstruction to the complete removal of the building’s exterior. Using our advanced drone technology, we provided detailed aerial imagery of the site’s progression, allowing Sevenhills Demolition and the Reclaimed Brick Company to document their work at every stage.

A key element of our documentation was showcasing how the materials, particularly the bricks, were carefully reclaimed for reuse.
